Program Highlights:  The FACT Program targets youth grades 6-12th who are in crisis or at risk due to inappropriate behaviors or delayed social skills.  The goal is to reduce the chance that they will begin using drugs or alcohol.  Wrap around services are provided to students identified by educators and referred to the FACT Program.  FACT connects students and families to community services.

Program Highlights:  The FACT Program in Spencer targets pre-school through 12th grade.  FACT actively works to reduce the risk that children of any age will consume alcohol or use drugs.  Wrap around services are provided to students identified by educators and referred to FACT.  After-school services provide a safe place for young people to participate in healthy activities and avoid alcohol, drugs or other negative behaviors.  FACT provides individual sessions, group activities, homework help, classroom presentations, assemblies, family sessions and diagnostic assessments. 

The Medina County Drug Abuse Commission Booth is present at the Medina County Home and Garden Show, Senior Fair, Family-A-Fair, Local Government Expo and the Medina County Fair each year.  Residents are encouraged to stop by the Booth to ask questions or obtain literature on alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.  

The Commission is also available to set-up a Booth at any Health and Wellness Fair in Medina County. Please call Brian Nowak at 330-722-9263 or e-mail bnowak@medinaco.org to make arrangements.
